Another 24 Hours...
Update: Her file was there and looked great. MOWA letter there, all in order. Then it was time for the judge to sign it and...no file. Missing. (Where in the world?) They found it four hours later. By that time the judge had decided to leave for the afternoon. So, in a nutshell, good news, but not break-out-into-celebration sort of news. That will come tomorrow when the judge signs it. In the waiting the Lord has brought to my attention several verses, plus a sermon on Sunday about our spiritual armor. I get to meditate upon these verses another day.
Worthy are you, our Lord, our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things and because of Your will she exists and was created. (Rev. 4:11) You, Lord, defend the cause of the weak and fatherless. We have labored earnestly for her in our prayers. Here we are another day closer and we pray,
O, give us help against the adversary,
For deliverance by man is in vain.
Through God we will do valiantly
And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries. Psalm 108:12
“This is what the Lord says: ‘Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on the earth, for in these I delight,’ declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 9:23-24
Lord, for tomorrow, “Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” Amos 5:24 Amen!
